Kumar is the Chairman of Endeavour and is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the company. He began his career in Sri Lanka with Lankem Ceylon Ltd, a company within the Shell group, where he was the chief accountant. Following this he moved to Africa as chief accountant for Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines.
After ten years in Africa, Bookers of London offered him the role of Chief Financial Officer / Company Secretary for Pelwatte Sugar Industries Limited, the largest sugar manufacturer in Sri Lanka. He accepted this role and returned to Sri Lanka.
In 2001, Kumar acquired A J Mayr and grew the company’s revenue from $6 million per annum to well in excess of $45 million per annum.
With nearly 40 years of experience in executive roles, both within Australia and overseas, Kumar has consistently delivered projects on time and within budget whilst providing senior management teams with motivation and direction.
In 2005, Kumar acquired and managed the Bank of Queensland Erina Branch in NSW. Bank of Queensland branches are franchised and owned and managed by the franchisee.
Kumar is a Chartered Management Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants London.
Dan is the CEO of Endeavour and is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the company. Dan has over 40 years experience as a hands-on executive with front line exposure to major projects in the mining and mineral industry. Dan has held key leadership roles in multi-billion dollar projects up to AUD$5B and lead Project teams in excess of 600 staff professionals and up to 3000 manual contractor personnel.
International business exposure includes Australia, India, Malaysia and China in the Asia Pacific region, Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, United State of America, Canada, Germany, Brazil and Chile in South America.
Accountable for delivering international major in the northern and southern hemisphere on projects from USD$50M up to USD$5B, with project management team numbering up to 350 and contractor construction workforce of over 3000, through the entire life cycle of major projects from Conceptual development to Plant operations and Maintenance.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Australia along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
Anthony is the Director of Operations and is responsible for the delivery for Endeavours first WTE plant from concept to operations. Prior to Endeavour, Anthony has held senior positions with global construction company UGL Limited in delivering major infrastructure projects.
Anthony has been invloved in the delivery of major projects in the Power Generation, Petro Chemicals, Nuclear, Mining & Resources and Water Technology industries.
Anthony excels in managing technical projects through all phases to completion. His negotiations with diverse groups of stakeholders as proven in multiple successful project deliveries.
Anthony holds a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Finance and Management from the University of Sydney.
Paul is the Director of HR and Marketing and is responsible for people capital within the company. Paul has over 13 years experience in the construction industry working on some of Australia’s largest projects in the Oil and Gas, Mining and Commercial Construction sectors.
Prior to Endeavour Paul commenced his career working for ASX listed UGL and over the years he has developed a high technical ability for services, managerial skills mentoring key management teams across all disciplines for successful execution of projects and building key relationships with major players within the construction industry..
Along with his valuable knowledge and experience for services in the construction industry, Paul holds a Diploma in Equities Trading and Analysis with a focus on Foreign Exchange along with a Diploma in Financial Planning.
Andy is the Engineering Manager of Endeavour and has over 26 years of hands on experience in roles ranging from Discipline Engineer to Engineering Manager to Quality Manager in all project phases.
His extensive technical and management experience comes from many projects executed within Australia, Canada and United Kingdom in petrochemical, LNG, alumina and nickel refining industries.
Andy holds a Bachelor Degree of Materials Engineering & Design, from Loughborough University, and is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Institute of Mechanical Engineers, UK.
Andy has worked for global engineering market leaders including Foster Wheeler Energy, MW Kellogg’s, KBR and Hatch, on projects for leading market giants such as ExxonMobil (Esso), Shell, BP, Woodside, Chevron, Alcoa, Vale Inco and BHP Billiton.
William (Bill) Morris is a qualified engineer with forty years experience in project and construction management of major projects from the conceptual development and contracting strategy stage through construction to the timely and financially successful pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover to the client.
This has included roles with clients, consultants and contractors around the world which includes West and North Africa, the Middle East, the U.K., South-East Asia and Australia.
Bill has held senior positions in project delivery for BHP Billiton, Fluor Daniel, Kaiser Engineers, SNC Lavalin, Ausenco, UGL Limited, McConnell Dowell and Transfield.
Bill is skilled in the management and co-ordination of all aspects of complex multi-discipline projects, delivery of complex projects on time, within budget and to the desired quality. He is experienced in end-to-end project management, design-to-value, best-practice procurement, and lean construction principles.
Bill is a skilled construction professional with an in depth knowledge of all facets of construction management from contracting and contract strategies and their development, planning and scheduling, procurement, budgeting, project co-ordination, human resource management including team building, motivation and conflict management, project safety management systems together with and detailed appreciation of how all specific disciplines that are required to construct a successful project.
Ekanayaka is a Business Development Manager of Endeavour Energy with over 17 years of experience working in the government, private, NGO and INGO sectors in Sri Lanka. He is also a qualified Town Planner and a Corporate Member of the Institute of Town Planners’ in Sri Lanka and has extensive experience in environment management, community empowerment, project planning, coordinating, implementing evaluating and feedback, capacity building and community empowerment.
His extensive exposure in development of municipal solid waste management plans for municipal councils, local government and authorities has given him invaluable experience in identifying and leading business opportunities for Endeavour.
Ekanayaka has participated in several international workshops on due diligence, Municipal Solid Waste Management and urban service delivery in Belgium, Australia, Canada, Kenya, Thailand, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Vietnam.
Ekanayaka’s technical background includes project implementation, management, stakeholder collaboration, coordination and community/stakeholder participation.
